About B.Sc - B.Ed

BSc - B.Ed is a four-year integrated degree for teaching aspriants in technical & applied science courses. Students can join the program after completing their 10+2 board examinations in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Students who study humanities or commerce in 10 + 2/Intermediate/PUC are not eligible to enrol in a BSc BEd program. Dual degree, or BSc BEd, combines both a BSc and a BEd. While BSc is an undergraduate science degree programme that stands for Bachelor of Science, and a BEd is an education degree.

The four-year integrated BSc BEd programme will save 1 year as it takes five years to complete both degree programmes independently (three years for the BSc programme and two years for the BEd programme). Enrolling in a BSc BEd integrated dual degree programme saves one year of study time.

B.Sc - B.Ed program is aimed to prepare educators for national building as per UGC and NCTE requirements, the BSc BEd programme aims to prepare future educators for nation-building. Students who complete the BSc BEd programme in four years receive both their science degree and their education degree. The BSc BEd programme aims to give students theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving talents in a range of scientific subjects. Twenty-week internship programme includes four weeks of school observation in order to give students in the BSc BEd integrated programme actual experiences and increase their practical skills.
