Under the auspices of the Manav Bharti Foundation, Madhav University, Pindwara, Distt. Sirohi (Rajasthan) was formed by Act No. 7 of 2014 of the state assembly of the government of Rajasthan and was notified by the UGC to issue degrees in accordance with Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. MU is close to NH. 27 and has good access to roads, trains, and aeroplanes. Numerous statutory organisations, including PCI, BCI, NCTE, AIU, ICAR, RCI, NCH (AYUSH), and others have recognised the university. The university is dedicated to setting a standard in higher education by implementing a curriculum that meets global education standards while utilising cutting-edge facilities and qualified faculty. The university's 100-acre campus is covered in greenery and has Wi-Fi throughout.

The university has a reputable, cutting-edge Central Library and a number of smaller, faculty-specific libraries that serve the needs of the academic community. The library's whole collection is electronically searchable and accessible on a computer. The university has spaces for indoor games, separate courts for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, as well as outdoor game fields for cricket, football, and hockey.
