Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) is a 4-year undergraduate degree that prepares students to become occupational therapists. Occupational therapists help people of all ages who have physical, mental, or developmental disabilities participate in the activities of daily living and achieve their goals.
The curriculum for a BOT degree typically includes courses in anatomy, physiology, psychology, sociology, occupational therapy theory and practice, and research methods. Students also complete a clinical internship.
After completing the course, candidates are hired as occupational therapists, occupational therapy nurses, etc. at rehabilitation centres, multi-specialty hospitals, private practice/private clinics, mental hospitals, geriatric homes/old age homes, and many more.
