About B.A.S.L.P

BSc in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) is a 4-year program that teaches students how to identify and treat speech and hearing related problems. Speech - language pathology and audiology are the two main BASLP areas, and the curriculum includes both theoretical and practical topics. The students participate in an internship and training programmes for the rehabilitation of those who have speech impairments in their final year.

Students who complete their 10 + 2/Intermediate/PUC in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with atleast 50% aggregate from recognized board are eligible to apply for this program. NEET - UG or Entrance examination is held by the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities. This is a relatively new course, students compare it with B.Sc - Audiology. 

Cost of the BASLP course is between 20,000 and 80,000 INR & post completion of the course. BASLP students go on to work as audiologists and speech-language pathologists.
