The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS, Rishikesh) is located in a beautiful natural setting near the sacred Ganges. It is a self-contained institute that began offering MBBS and BSc Nursing programmes in 2012.
It is a nationally renowned institute that offers MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, MD/MS, DM/MCh, PDCC, MSc, and Ph.D. programmes, as well as numerous medical and allied courses, and has a faculty of 300 people.
For different research activities and to improve research, AIIMS Rishikesh has worked with IIT Roorkee and Patanjali Yogpeeth. To complement lab-based studies, it has a multi-diagnostic research unit. In addition, the Advanced Center for Continuous Professional Development helps academics and other medical professionals improve their clinical, research, and teaching skills.
