AIIMS New Delhi was ranked 23rd in the world in the category of Life Sciences and Medicine in 2020, and 24th in the category of Medicine by QS WUR. It was also ranked first in Asia in the category of Life Sciences and Medicine in 2020, and was included in Newsweek's list of the world's Best Hospitals.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework placed AIIMS New Delhi #1 among all medical institutes in India in 2021 & also in surveys conducted by India Today in 2020, Outlook India in 2019 and The Week in 2019.
