At SSIM, the PGDM program is unique. This program is NBA-accredited. The program is designed to meet the needs of the industry, which is always on the lookout for managers with cross-functional skills and an understanding of IT. This program provides the aspirant with the necessary skills to meet future challenges and achieve greater growth in their career aspects, as well as learn to manage a team. A student will be able to expand their knowledge in three areas by selecting specializations from the options presented in the second year. During the second year, students must study ten electives in addition to compulsory subjects. As part of this, students may select three specializations from the list below. If a student wishes to apply for a major in one field, he or she must complete a minimum of five courses in that field.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates for admission to the program must meet the following criteria:

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT 

  • Candidates with a three-year Bachelor's Degree from any recognized university with 50% aggregate score are eligible.
  • Students appearing in their final semester/year exams may also apply
  • All applicants are required to appear for ATMA/ MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ TSICET before applying to Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) & should qualify at least one exam.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with work experience.
  • It is required that candidates complete all academic requirements before enrolling for the program to help them keep pace with the rigor and assessment parameters of the program.
  • Candidates for the PGDM program may be fresh graduates and/or with relevant work experience from any discipline including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education.
  • The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is given by the candidate must have a minimum of three years of education. Minimum of 3 years bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Candidates who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the program.
  • However, the final selection will be based on the higher percentage cutoff process depending on the total number of applicants for the program.

NOTE

  • SSIM uses scores of above-mentioned Tests for admission into PGDM Programs. The Testing Bodies do not have any role in the selection process nor in the conduct of the PGDM Programs.

Fellow Programme in Management

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be considered for admission into the FPM (Full time) at SSIM, the applying candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM/PG in related areas such as Economics, Commerce, and Statistics with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade point average
  • A graduate having professional credentials such as CA, ICWA, or CS.

A Candidate may submit his or her Thesis after a minimum of three years of registration. The maximum term for submitting the Thesis, however, is five years from the date of acceptance to the Programme.

Candidates that have passed the UGC NET/JRF/SLETSET will be excluded from taking the SSIM Research Aptitude Test (SRAT). They must, however, register by paying Rs.2000 and submitting the completed application.
