ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT 

  • Students must have a four-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Students who complete the aforementioned degree requirement and have a strong technical background in engineering, physics, or a comparable science discipline are encouraged to apply.
  • The average cumulative high school GPA of Stanford accepted students is 3.96 on a 4.0 scale.

 ELIGIBILITY FOR INDIAN STUDENTS 

Indian students may apply if they match one of the following criteria:

  • completed a four-year UG degree with honors in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution

A three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline is not regarded as adequate for graduate study at Stanford. Following the three-year bachelor's degree from India, a two-year master's degree is required.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test in order to be admitted to this program.
