In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 survey, which was carried out by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, IMI Bhubaneswar, a young institute founded in 2011, earned the coveted position of 70th rank. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and FPM (equivalent to PhD) programmes offered by IMI Bhubaneswar are currently AICTE-approved. The premier PGDM programme has earned accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and the American International University (AIU) (Association of Indian Universities).
