This conviction led us to establish the first co-operative education program in Western Canada more than 50 years ago. Our institution's history of providing hands-on learning opportunities has given us decades of insight, allowing us to fine-tune our programs and offerings so that students reap the benefits in the real world. Our students have numerous opportunities to gain experience in both paid and volunteer positions, as well as other opportunities, resulting in career-ready graduates who are able to find work quickly.
We all know that doing is the best way to learn. Our Experiential and Service Learning Centre will open in the fall of 2022, providing students with new opportunities to gain hands-on experience and learn by doing.
