About

The foundation institution of the University of Ottawa, with which Saint Paul University (est. 1848) has affiliated since 1965, is situated in the center of the nation's capital. It provides undergraduate and graduate academic programs and is a multilingual university.

Saint Paul University (SPU), which is proud of its extensive history, has developed over time into a place where the various dimensions of the human experience are the main focus. This priority is evident in our current study programs, which include courses in social communication, social innovation, transformative leadership, counseling and psychotherapy, public ethics, conflict studies, human relations, and spirituality in addition to our founding disciplines of canon law, philosophy, and theology.

Along with its academic programs, SPU provides a number of supplemental services, such as support and direction to help students succeed both academically and personally, access to symposiums, conferences, and workshops with eminent experts in the fields of issues facing today's society, a student residence, and a library with an exceptional collection of documents and books on a variety of specialized subjects.

Small class sizes, individualized attention, a varied student body, an emphasis on global issues, a strong reputation, a lengthy history, and a Catholic intellectual heritage are all attributes of SPU.
