Sri Balaji Society (SBS) was established in the year 1998 by Late. Professor Dr. (Col) A. Balasubramanian; is also the Founder and Chancellor of Sri Balaji University Pune (SBUP). Sri Balaji Society shifted to its present location in Tathwade, Pune in the year 2006. It is the dedication and vision of our founder which helped us achieve the status of a university in 2019.

SBUP is one huge campus with four institutes. Today, SBUP offers Post Graduate Management Programs (MBA) through its four management institutions - Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Technology & Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), and Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resources Development (BIMHRD).

SBUP also offers UG Programs with various specializations in BBA, BA, and BCA, there's also PG Program in MCA.

Apart from these four institutions we also have a law college – Balaji Law College (BLC) and an Undergraduate and Graduate level college namely – Balaji College of Arts Commerce and Science (BCACS) and Balaji Junior College of Arts Commerce and Science (BJCACS). BLC and BCACS are affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • A candidate from any stream must have passed the 12th-grade examination (H.S.C.10+2) with at least 50% and English as a passing subject. OR
  • After S.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard, a three-year diploma course from the Board of Technical Education run by the Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent is required.
  • After H.S.C., i.e. 12th Standard, a two-year diploma course in pharmacy from the Board of Technical Education run by the Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent is required.
  • Completed the MCVC program. (Vocational Courses with Minimum Competency)
  • A candidate must have received at least 50% in the qualifying exams. (SC/ST applicants must have a minimum of 45%)

MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Be a graduate from a UGC-recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
  • Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.
  • It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after in Sep 2021 to Mar 2022 will be considered for admission to the academic year 2022-23. We believe that true talent cannot be judged on the basis of the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, we do not have a cut-off score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the program.
  • In case the applicant does not have an Entrance Examination Score / Not appeared for the Entrance examination or would like to improve their scores mentioned above can opt for

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards ofeducational institutions.
  • A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the policy of Government of Maharashtra from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.
  • In order to ensure that the utility based research under taken by experienced corporate managers with minimum service of 15 years in the various domain areas/specialisations in management, like Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Business Economics, International Business, Information Technology etc, a new batch of corporate researchers will be formed. The co-supervisors for these corporate researchers will also be from Industries. This will be a unique and novel experience in the corporate research field. The mode of conduct of doctoral research program and the related course work will also be modified wherever necessary, for example, the corporate leaders need not frequently some to the college but our faculties will be visiting cities where the number of registered corporate researchers is more.
  • For the candidates working in organisations and applying as part time external candidate will have to submit a consent letter from the respective organization.
  • The candidates who are fellow members of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI), having five years of professional experience are also eligible. However they must have scored 55% marks at the graduations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Any Graduate with mathematics at 10+2 level is eligible to apply for MCA Programme. The Candidate must have passed graduation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Candidates in the final year of Graduation/Degree can also apply, however admission will be granted provisionally subject to satisfying criteria 1 above.
  • A minimum of 50% marks is mandatory for general category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra.
