The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) IPR Chair and the Justice M. L. Pendse Chair in Environmental Laws are two sponsored research Chairs that have been donated to the university.
Due to its enviable location in Powai's prestigious Hiranandani Gardens, MNLU Mumbai offers extensive exposure to the city's expansive metropolitan facilities. The campus is 13 kilometres from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and close to IIT Bombay. Just across from the campus is where the hostel is.
