Karaikal, a coastal city in the Kaveri basin, is home to the National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY). NIT - Py began accepting applications through JEE - Mains in the academic year 2010-2011.
There are 56 faculty members on staff, as well as 36 non-teaching personnel, for a total of 923 students. Students are exposed to the most current and up-to-date curriculum as well as current advances in numerous engineering areas. In addition to scientific and engineering abilities, the institute allows our incoming graduates to participate in team projects, presentations, and extracurricular activities. Students are encouraged to help in any way they can, and they used the chaos of their early years to grow in self-determination and ingenuity.
