Sant Baba Bhag Singh Memorial Charitable Society, under the dynamic leadership of Sant Baba Malkit Singh ji, has been providing basic infrastructure facilities to the people living in the areas of the vicinity of Dera Sant Pura Jabbar, near Adampur Doaba, Dist. Jalandhar, by constructing bridges and roads, providing street lights to villages, etc. The Society started providing formal education by setting up SBBS Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2003, followed by the setting up of SBBS International School in 2004, SBBS Institute of Education (2005), SBBS Institute of Nursing (2005), SBBS Research & Development Centre (2010), SBBS Post Graduate College (2011), SBBS Public School, Binjon (2011). Rural Healthcare is being provided through Guru Nanak Sadh Sangat Charitable Hospital, Kalra, since 2003.

In pursuance of the vision: "To encourage each and every child to get educated, acquire knowledge and wisdom so dias to learn the art of leading a happy, successful and meaningful life," all these institutions established their presence in the field of education, leading to their flowering into Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, established vide the Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Act, 2014.

  • The candidate must have completed 10+2 in any subject from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Graduation in any stream from a recognized Board/University with a minimum of 50% marks is required.

BA LLB

 Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Legislative Law

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidate must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream held by a recognized Board / University / Council with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for General Category. OBCs received 42% of the total marks, while SC/STs received 40%.

  • Attained at least 45% (40% for restricted categories) in all of the aforementioned topics taken together.

  • Passed the Diploma (in Engineering & Technology) exam with at least 45% marks (40% for restricted categories).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates for admission to the program must have at least a B average in either their Bachelor's or Master's degree, or in an equivalent qualification.
  • According to the policies of the relevant Government, reserved groups will get seat preference and a relaxation of the qualifying standards.

A candidate who has passed any of the following examinations is qualified to enroll in the course:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks and participation in Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District School Sports and Games as recognized by AIU/10A/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA. OR
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with 45%. OR A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and a compulsory/elective subject in physical education. OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 45% marks and participation in National/Inter University/State Competitions or first, second, or third place in Inter College/Inter Zonal/District/School Competition in Sports and Games as recognized by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA. OR
  • Bachelor's Degree with participation in International tournaments or first, second, or third place in National/Inter University competition in sports and games recognized by various federations/AIU/10A/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA.
