The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, is a formed body corporate created in accordance with Subsection (3) of Section 1 of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010. On May 13, 2010, the university was founded. rajuvas-building The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner, was founded with the aim of developing veterinary and animal sciences in the state of Rajasthan specifically and throughout the nation generally by ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training, research, and extension in modern systems of veterinary and animal sciences and its allied sciences. The University is moving forward to offer technical and scientific support for changing state animal husbandry from sustainability to better profitability.

With the help of scientific and technical advancements, a supportive regulatory environment, and improved output in conjunction with productivity surges, the State has become one of the leaders in the nation for milk, meat, and wool production.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent exam administered by a board of education, university, or council that has been duly recognized by the Rajasthan Board, CBSE, New Delhi. The candidate must also have earned at least a passing grade in each subject and at least 50% of the possible points in the combined categories of English, physics, chemistry, and biology. Nevertheless, the minimum necessary aggregate for SC/ST applicants is 40%. OR Any test from a foreign university, education board, college, or school that has been approved by the Academic Council as an equivalent for the purpose and requires a strong command of English.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates for the M.V.Sc. program must have a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree with a minimum grade point average (CGPA) of 6.00 out of 10, or 60 percent for general applicants, and 5.50 out of 10 for students in the reserved category.
