(1) MBM Engineering College, (2) Jaswant College, (3) Faculty of Engineering & Architecture (11 Department) (now Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies with 04 Departments),

III. S.M.K. College, which is currently home to the Faculty of Law, the Institute of Evening Studies, and the Faculty of Arts' Undergraduate Program. In addition, this contains the Coaching Center for Weaker Sections.

K.N. College for Women, #4 (The multi-faculty constituent college of the University).

On August 24, 1962, the then-University of Jodhpur was opened by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, President of India. "That the young people who will be educated in this university will go forward not as prisoners of the past, but as pilgrims of the future; will develop in them a spirit of dedication, a spirit of renunciation, a spirit of whole-hearted, single-minded concentration on the advancement of the knowledge, whether in science or humanities," the Hon. President revered Prof. Radha Krishnan said in his inaugural speech.

This was the sole residential university in Rajasthan, primarily serving the needs of students in the western part of the state (the Marwar). Since this university is situated in the vast Indian Thar Desert, its research and development activities have been focused on the history, society, and problems unique to the area. This university, which is located in the westernmost section of the nation, teaches students and carries out research in Pakistan's border regions. Our goal is to educate not only the residents of the border and desert districts, but also the children of the military, paramilitary, and other organisations that operate in key critical areas of the nation.

The western region of Rajasthan State currently has a divisional university with the name Jai Narain Vyas University.
