The state government of Uttar Pradesh founded the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (DR.RMLIMS), an autonomous super speciality medical teaching institute. The Institute's Vice Chairperson is Mr. Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary for Medical Education, and its Chairperson is Mr. Durga Shankar Mishra, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
