Located in the North Indian state of Uttarakhand, Quantum University is a Private University. The campus is situated in the town of Roorkee. Previously it was known as Quantum Global Campus Roorkee.

Quantum University is said to have been founded in the year 2008. It was the vision of the great industrialist Shri Shyam Sundar Goyal.

The Quantum University Roorkee campus, spread across 30 acres, is situated outside Roorkee, on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway. The nearest airport from the campus is Jolly Grant in Dehradun, and the nearest railway stations are Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Roorkee in Uttarakhand.

Quantum University has received approval from Uttarakhand's Government and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Quantum University is affiliated with the University Grants Commission. Initially, the college provided programs in the disciplines of Engineering and Management. Gradually, by 2014, the college commenced programs in various Graduate Studies.

Eligibility of Criteria 

  • Candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Computer Science as required courses (IT). a combined minimum grade point average of 50% in the aforementioned three disciplines. English as a subject at the 10+2 level must have been passed by the applicant. Preference will be given to applicants with strong performance in state-level entrance exams, IITJEE (Mains), and university entrance exams (Q-CARE).
