The National Capital Territory of Delhi's government founded Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi by a legislative act in 2007, and it was notified in July 2008. The mission of AUD, which is mandated to concentrate on research and teaching in the social sciences and humanities and is inspired by Dr. Ambedkar's vision of fusing excellence, equality, and social justice, is to establish strong, lasting connections between access to higher education and academic success. The University is dedicated to developing a culture within its walls that is humanistic, non-hierarchical and collegial, encourages teamwork, and values creativity.
