Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV) is a young Deemed-to-be- University proud of its modernity and yet firmly entrenched in rich educational heritage and ethos. This Deemed University was established in the year 2008 and ever since has been ceaselessly striving to excel in Academics, Research, Patient care and Extension services-all done with a view to serving the society.

Infusing passion and enthusiasm into the minds of the avid students and nurturing their achievements in order to optimise potentials is our tenet. At SBV, reinforcing and augmenting theoretical knowledge gained by the taught during didactic lectures with evidence based practice, skills and research is the forte. Patient care as a top priority continues to attract the attention of the stakeholders. Serving the underserved and underprivileged patients epitomises SBV, where patient care in the broad specialties and super specialties are enabled with the spontaneous and committed support of the auxiliary health care personnel.

The Deemed University’s constituent colleges include two Medical Colleges, one Dental College, two Nursing Colleges, School of Pharmacy, School of Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences The regulatory programs are all duly recognized by the respective statutory councils, viz., Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Indian Nursing Council and Pharmacy Council. Whereas, innovative curricula synonymous with academic flexibility vested with the Deemed Universities are being promulgated through value added programs across the academic programs of Allied Health Sciences.
