Sri Sai University is established with the objective for professional and technical value-based education as State Private University vide Act No.3 of 2011 of State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh. It has been notified by the U.G.C. under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 and empowered to award degrees vide letter F.No.8-2/2011(CPP-1/PU) dated 01 June 2011.

Evaluating the academic progress and based on the glorious achievements of Sri Sai Group of Institutes founded by Sh. Ram Iqbal Bhardwaj Ji and under the dynamic leadership of Hon’able Chairman Er. S. K. Punj and respected Managing Director Smt. Tripta Punj, Government of Himachal Pradesh accorded approval through legislation to establish SRI SAI UNIVERSITY PALAMPUR in the year 2010. Sri Sai University Palampur is a multi-disciplinary and World Class University located amidst the sylvan surroundings of Kangra Valley. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates must have passed/appeared in a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, as well as one of the following subjects:
  • Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject, with at least 45% (40% reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Provided that a student is 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year of acceptance to the course.

  • Admission would be based on the results of the JEEIIT/HPCET. The remaining/unfilled seats from the aforementioned criteria will be filled using a +2 point merit system.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time MBA should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an Approved University or an equivalent degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% for General Category applicants and 45% for Reserved Category candidates.
  • Admissions will be made based on the results of the State / National Level Entrance Test/Any Other Directive.

  • Candidates seeking admission to the two-year full-time program must satisfy the following standards, as stipulated by the institute.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with a minimum of 3 years length or Mathematics at 10+2 level or at degree level with at least 50% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category candidates at the Qualifying Examination.
  • Admission will be based on the results of the state/national level entrance test.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

  • B.Com/B.Com (Hons) or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or B.A. with Commerce or M.A./M.Sc. in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics with 50% marks for general applicants and 45% for reserved candidates.

OR 

  • B.A./B.Sc. degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics with 50% marks for general applicants and 45% for reserved candidates.

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 45% for General Category applicants and 40% for Reserved Category candidates.
  • Admission shall be based on merit, rank/marks gained in National Level Tests, and any other directives.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Aspirants seeking admission to the three-year full-time Bachelor of Arts program should satisfy the following standards, as stipulated by the institute.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must have completed 10+2 in the relevant stream and received 40% in the General Category.
  • Reserved candidates receive a 5% mark reduction.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates seeking admission to the 1 year Full-time M.Phil. program must satisfy the following criteria, as stipulated by the institute.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must have done a Master's degree in the concerned/allied subject with 55% marks.
  • SC/ST candidates will get a 5% relaxation in post graduation marks, as per the rules.

Admission will be made through the entrance test conducted by the university as per the directions of UGC. Candidates with NET/SET will be, however exempted from the entrance test
