Kurukshetra College In the year 2000, Sirsa's Chaudhary Devi Lal Post Graduate Regional Center was established. It was then designated as a full-fledged university and given the name Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. According to UGC letter No. F.9-17/2003(CPP-1) dated 17.02.2009, the University had been acknowledged by the University Grants Commission and declared eligible for Central Assistance under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act. The University had begun and finished the construction of the Boys Hostel No. 2, Girls Hostel No. 2, V.C. home, and Guest House. In addition to the aforementioned, Chaudhary Devi Lal University's construction wing in Sirsa completed houses in the H, C, D, E, F, and E-II categories, a water treatment plant, an overhead service reservoir, a boundary wall on undisputed land, the commissioning of a water supply and sewage scheme, an OHSR, a sewage treatment plant, and other development projects.

The prestigious construction of Teaching Block No. II (Science Block), Media Center, Sewage Treatment Plant, Library Building, Shopping Complex, Main Gate, Internal Roads (Phase-II), and Parking, among other projects Construction of Multipurpose Hall, Block "A" of the Administrative Block, Air Conditioning Plant at MP Hall, Sound Reinforcement System at MP Hall, 11 KV Indoor Electric main Sub Station and Compact Sub Station, various types of additional residential houses i.e. C, E&F, Building for Electric Sub Station, raising of boundary wall (southern side), and High Mast Lighting have also been completed. All of the science stream's departments, including physics, chemistry, biotechnology, mathematics, food science and technology, energy, and environmental sciences, are administered out of Teaching Block No. II, or C.V. Raman Bhawan (Science Block).

Through its Health Centre, the university offers medical services to its staff and students. The University Shopping Complex building houses a variety of stores, including a dry cleaner, a ladies and gents parlour, a confectionary, a photography studio, a computer café, and a stationery store. University Health Centers and an ATM-equipped branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce are housed in a shopping complex. At the university playground, there is a separate men's and women's restroom. To accommodate the need for power during a power outage, the university also has silent generator sets available. The "Construction of Girls Hostel No. 3 & Teaching Block No. III" major construction projects were just finished. 

Construction projects for "Super H, C, D, E & F type houses," "laying of sports flooring at MP Hall," "constructing of water storage tank and installing sprinkler system in lawns," and "constructing of Day Care Center" are all ongoing. The new proposals include building Teaching Block No. 4, a solar energy plant, solar water heating systems, more residential homes, a swimming pool, retractable chairs for MP Hall, the establishment of herbal parks, a VIP guest house, a transit hostel, an extension of the construction branch, an expansion of Boys Hostel No. 1, class rooms and seminar halls, and a tag-along facility.
