By virtue of Act No. 25 of 2014, the Haryana government founded Chaudhary Bansi Lal University in Bhiwani. It has received 2F recognition from the University Grants Commission. The university is a blessing for the academically underdeveloped area of Haryana and has tremendous potential for the intellectual and academic boom for the people of Bhiwani, a city that is situated 125 kilometres to the west of Delhi and 285 kilometres to the south of Chandigarh.
In order to promote higher education in a variety of areas, with a focus on sports and physical education, and to attain excellence in these and related sectors, the university was founded as a teaching-cum-affiliating university.
In a short period of time, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University has achieved significant progress in promoting science, sports, and health education in the area. In the faculties of Physical Science, Life Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, and Commerce, the university is admitting more than 1200 students. Its efficient instructional programmes began in just 21 days. Post-graduate courses have begun in 19 Departments across 9 Faculties at the university. The university made sure that classes were held on time and that the students were actively interested in learning new things. The instructional activities ran without a hitch and concluded in the timely administration of exams free from plagiarism. There is now a choice-based credit system in place. Additionally, the results were revealed in a speedy manner.
