The Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya(Amendment) Act, 2019, which was published in the Gazette on January 22, 2020, created the Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya as a state university. It officially began operating in January 2020. The University is situated on the Kirodimal Institute of Technology Raigarh Building, next to Garhumaria, Odisha Road, Raigarh. Among the four districts of Chhattisgarh State, which together form the purview of Shaheed Nandkumar Patel University, there are around 29 governmental and 80 private colleges and universities (SNPV). The colleges provide undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields, including science, the arts, commerce, law, and education, as well as at research centers. The 109 colleges that are associated with Shaheed Nandkumar Patel University provide the following programs: (SNPV).
