The Government of Bihar issued an order establishing Patliputra University in Patna on March 18, 2018, as stated in Letter/Memo No. 15/M1-71/2016-700 dated April 9, 2018. Except for those affiliated with the Patna University, all the colleges in the Bihar (India) districts of Patna and Nalanda are governed by the Patliputra University. The University is in charge of 25 constituent colleges, two government females colleges, three minority colleges, and a number of associated colleges. In addition to skill-oriented courses in vocational and technical/professional sectors, several of these institutions operate post-graduate centers in a variety of subjects that have been approved by universities. These affiliated units are governed by their respective local governing bodies and a duly established management board that has been granted university approval.
The Patliputra University's administrative center is located in Patna and is currently located at "Old Bypass Road, Kankarbagh, Patna-800 020, Bihar (India)."
With the help of specially developed creative methodologies, the university has established cutting-edge international standards in teaching-learning and research that are intended to raise the caliber of higher education in the nation. Radical concepts with a worldwide perspective in the field of education are being used to create the atmosphere of the institution. Our colleges enroll students from all throughout the state and/or region. We are working to create a student-centric environment that will be logically conducive to all stakeholders, including students, researchers, academicians, teachers, parents, society, institutions, research organizations, industries, government agencies, and all types of employers, in order to achieve academic excellence. The university hopes to work with numerous academic institutions, research organizations, universities, businesses, governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations on a national and worldwide scale.
