The Government of Bihar founded Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, to build and manage the state's educational infrastructure for technical, medical, managerial, and allied professional education. Both in terms of the quantity of institutions and the calibre of education, Bihar lacks infrastructure. As a result, Bihar state has emerged as the main hub for students moving to other states to pursue their studies and build their careers for future development.
