Based on your interest, there are 2 tests on offer, they are IELTS Academic & IELTS General Training.
IELTS Academic evaluates your level of English language competence and determines if it is appropriate for an academic setting. It examines your readiness for training or study and includes elements of academic language.
IELTS General Training tests a candidate's ability to use the English language in a real-world setting. The assessments and tasks replicate social and professional settings.
IELTS is scored on a scale from 1 to 9. During the test, proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English will be evaluated. The British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge English all jointly own IELTS.

IELTS exam is conducted 48 times in a calender year. IELTS dates may be different for the Academic and General Training modules in India. The General Training version is accessible on 24 dates, however the Academic version is accessible on all 48 occasions. Tests are typically held on Saturdays and Thursdays to provide flexibility and convenience.
Please take note that speaking tests will be given up to 7 days before and/or after the test date, while listening, reading, and writing (LRW) examinations must be taken on the same day.
IELTS evaluates your level of English comprehension and consists of four sections: speaking, reading, and writing. Listening, Reading, and Writing tests will all be given on the same day, without pauses, for a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Writing, Listening, and Reading will be the order of the four portions for IELTS tests administered on paper, whereas Listening, Reading, and Writing will be the order for tests administered on computers. The speaking portion of the test, however, can be scheduled up to a week before or after other exams.
IELTS - Academic can now be taken online at home or any private location with a reliable internet connection in addition to on paper or on a computer in a testing facility.
IELTS - General Training can only be taken on paper or on a computer in a testing facility.
Speaking and Listening tests for Academic and General Training are same, but different for Reading and Writing tests.
All the tests are completed on the same day & there will be no gaps between these tests.
For IELTS - Academic, cut off varies from one admitting institution to another. Score of more than 6.5 is considered to be good.
