Sree Vasavi Educational Society was established in the year 2007. The objectives of the society are to impart quality education to all aspirant students irrespective of caste, creed and religion and to promote education in the backward area of YSR district. The society felt impelled to start Management Education College as there are few colleges in district and due to ever increasing demand for the course in the current scenario.
Consequently, Vasavi Institute of management and computer sciences was started in the year 2009 offering M.B.A, course under the aegis of this society and Dr.D.Maruthi prasad Ph.D., took over the charge as the first Principal of the College. The college started functioning in own building.
VIMCOS is striving to fabricate world class management professionals and it has initiated the steps towards reaching this goal through imparting value based professional management education.
