QIS College of Pharmacy Established in the year 2006 by Sri Nidamanuri Educational Society, committed to promote Pharmaceutical education in Prakasam District. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and approved by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India., New Delhi.

The courses offered by our college not only enable the students to develop a gamut of skills, but also apply them to real world-problems, thus fast-tracking their careers. The process of teaching, training and evaluation follow the modern Gurukul system, which makes the education system at QIS College of Pharmacy in-sync the latest trends in Pharma Industry. Education, thus rather than being lecture oriented and traditional, is more student-driven.

Above all the college will promote Pharmacy Education to meet the requirements of a developing nation in the context of global concern at the threshold of the twenty-first century. Pharmacy Education: Pharmacy is an integral part of the health care system and thus Pharmacy Practice is a noble profession. Pharmacy Education provides ample of opportunities for students to perform their professional skills and extend their service to patients. Pharmacists form an important link between physicians and patients. They provide the technical information on medicines, understand the principles of quality assurance as applied to medicine, and are able to advise or guide the patients with minor illness to patients suffering from chronic diseases. Pharmacists are also responsible for production and quality control of drug and dosage in different forms. Our nation needs qualified and competent pharmacists to work in hospitals, Private Pharmacies, Ministries, Teaching Institutions and Pharmaceutical Industries.
