Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji is a guiding spirit for the development of Management Education in SJCIT with a vision of imparting value based education system and creating management professionals who can face the business challenges in the global market.
Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2000 offers Two year full time MBA program affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and approved by AICTE.
The course is carefully designed and updated by the University keeping in mind the changing needs in Industry. MBA Program at SJCIT goes beyond the curriculum and offers a special set of leadership skills that are extremely valuable in the global market and offers a wide spectrum of business knowledge, conceptual and analytical skills and develops the students in to competent and effective Managers.
The campus provides an ideal environment for young minds to explore new ideas, and encourages creativity and independent thinking.
With the blessings of Poojya Swamiji’s the SJB Institution is providing excellent facilities to the students to facilitate for the overall development and nurture students in the conducive academic environment in their four years stay in the campus. Class rooms are equipped with high class digital amenities of LCDs & Apple iPad; providing Internet connections of 700 MBPS with Wi-fi connectivity. Students are being taught through a transformative development experience through Digital mode of teaching filled with activity-based learning apart from class room teaching. Establishment of tie-ups with renowned industries and institutes with state-of-the-art Center of Excellences like “ Center of Excellence for Training & Research in Automation Technologies”(CETRAT- Rexroth Bosch); Lab VIEW Academy (National Instruments); INTEL Intelligent System Lab ( Intel);Toyota Centre of Excellence Lab (Toyota Kirloskar) have made the institute to cater to encourage innovative practices, provisioned for accommodating In-house internships, training in advanced technologies, research activities. Added to this; The Institution is associated with around 60 Industries & other universities with vibrant objectives. These centers focus on the skill & competencies development by hands on approach to transfer advanced technologies to the students.
Researching with many years of data, analysis, practice etc., a most useful, dedicated online PORTAL- Student Information System ( SIMS- First of its kind) is designed for accessing study materials, Notes, Pre-recoded videos, assignment submissions, attendance track records and many more features ; which would be made accessible to students, faculties, parents as well. Proctor system is being adopted and each faculty member work as a proctor for a group of twenty students for counselling and better performance of students. Access to archived study materials, Technical Magazines, Journals, digital library in addition to dedicated set of text books through “Central library and Information centre” in the academic hours apart from the facilities extended from the departmental libraries across all the department. Innovative practices are being adopted like Inter-institute competitions & Exhibitions at the State & National level to exhibit their innovative projects. To motivate young minds a platform is created where students can show cause their vision of developing innovative projects. A dedicated team consisting highly qualified trainers are providing extensive training in Analytical, Verbal, Technical, Programming, Group discussions, Technical and HR interviews skills through Industry professional trainers. Career counselling from senior corporate personnel and the training on cutting edge technologies in demand by the industries are being provided.
The Institution has received around 2 crores from various funding agencies towards research projects. The management is encouraging staffs to enrol for Massive open online courses (MOOCs), of their choice from a pool of rich online resources such NPTEL/SWAYAM, Coursera etc., enabling them to upgrade their knowledge in the latest technologies. Meritorious students are being encouraged in awarding with Gold medals by the management. Students have consistently bagged several ranks at the university level bringing laurels to the institution.
