The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has authorised Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, which is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and offers 15 undergraduate and 13 graduate courses. It also offers 20 research institutes in various fields of engineering that cater to research scholars pursuing a Ph.D. at VTU. NBA recognises a number of courses. The Wi-Fi-enabled institute is spread out over 29 acres of land, with state-of-the-art laboratories and machines. The students' knowledge base is provided through the Central Library and the Digital Library. Faculty members are dedicated to academics and have the highest level of professional ethics. Each faculty member is responsible for mentoring students through one-on-one interaction. The faculty is focused on research, with a number of financed R&D initiatives from several agencies.
