Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) is a private college that offers superior education in the field of technology. It was founded in 1979. The institute is associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belagavi, and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
