Vikas College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was started in 2004 - 05 by VC Educational Society, Secunderabad to impart quality education to pharmacy students coming from rural areas and equip them with the necessary competencies to meet the growing global demands of the pharmaceutical industry, academia, research, and patient care areas.

The college is located at Rayanigudem, Suryapet district, rural South Telangana and situated on Hyderabad – Vijayawada National High Way No.65 and placed in 12 acres of lush green serene environment.

The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. The institution offers a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) followed by a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) and Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Programme (Six years course) and three-year Post Baccalaureate (P.B) course. The Pharm D students gain their practice exposure at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital a 1050-bed multi- speciality tertiary care teaching hospital, Narketpally.
