The Elegant College was established in the year 2015 and is affiliated to the University of Calicut. Having completed more than six years of dedicated service to the growing young minds, the college has earned an enviable reputation as a self-financing leading institution of higher education in the Palakkad district. It was founded by Palakkad Salafi Educational Association with the primary aim of providing higher education to the educationally backward section in general.However, its doors are open to deserving students irrespective of community, caste, creed or socio-economic considerations. With a humble beginning of 100 students in the four undergraduate courses which includes B.Sc physics, B.Sc chemistry, B.Com and BA English , the college is now successful in increasing its seats for the respective courses with the aim to provide more opportunities to deserving students and the college believes in optimizing the potential and competency of the youth through critical thinking, academic quests and extension activities.
