Farook B.Ed College, Kottakkal is a well equipped College of teacher education to provide quality teacher education to all classes of people to attract and encourage talented and dedicated students towards teaching profession. Farook B.Ed College has all the facilities under its own roof to facilitate and ensure quality teacher education. The College is situated in a beautiful campus and is highly fascinating for its natural beauty and marvellous surroundings. The location is about 16 Kilometers from Tirur Railway Station, in between Changuvetty (NH 17) and Kottakkal.

Farook B.Ed College was established in 2004, under the management of Farook Educational Society. The Society was formed in 1982 and run well established institutions like Farook English Medium High School, Farook English Medium Higher Secondary School, Farook Teacher Training Institute and Farook Arts and Science College, providing curricular and co-curricular activities for both mental and moral development of the students. Farook B.Ed College is affiliated to the University of Calicut with an intake of 50 students in five disciplines. All the courses offered are recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
