Falahiyya College has established by some well wishers of Islam in Malappuram . Later it started a banath for girls and oriental S S LC for the students who passed upper primary . It was run by Malappuram Falahiya Association . In 1970 , the Afsal Ul Ulama course of the Calicut University was started in this institution and 1975 admission was allowed even to boys in this course .Thus the institution came to be known as Falahiya College . The Institution was all the more notable when it got the affiliation of the Calicut University in 2000. Now Falahiya offers 2 year Afsal Ul Ulama Preliminary and 3 year BA Afsal Ul Ulama Degree . Apart from these courses Computer & Tailoring training's are offered to students The Old Students of Falahiya are working in various fields of the society
