Jalaliya (Gift of God) Women's Arabic College was established in 1998, a registered society for the religious and socio-cultural development of the orphan Muslim girl child in Kuttikkattoor in Kozhikode, Kerala by Kuttikkattoor Muslim orphanage committee. The college began on a charity level by the vision bought forth by the Kuttikkattoor Muslim orphanage committee for women’s education especially for orphans in the Kuttikkattoor Muslim Orphanage Campus.
In the year 2002, JWAC was affiliated by the University of Calicut. The student strength of JWAC was 100 at that time. Jalaliya Women’s Arabic College (JWAC) situated in the rural area of Kuttikattoor has grown into a large campus spread over 3 acres of land and sufficient infrastructural facilities.
In addition to imparting knowledge, develop specialized skills and fosters attitudes essential for the growth of students, JWAC functions to provide empowering beneficiary knowledge to those still finding their way in life. It believes in using the shield of moral values as a sturdy base to channel holistic education.
A rich blend of qualified and experienced academicians handle the sessions for the students undergoing the undergraduate and graduate programs at JWAC. The programs equip the students with thorough knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, Literature, History, and Culture of Muslims. Excellence and Innovation are the key concern while designing the curriculum.
