The "SARABHAI INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY" is a self-financing institution established by the Space Engineers Welfare Society (SEWELS) with approval from the Government of Kerala.
The "SARABHAI INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY" campus is located in VELLANAD, a rustic village on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram city. The campus spans approximately 25 acres and includes all of the necessary infrastructure such as hostels, canteens, libraries, fully-equipped labs, and so on.
