Mala Educational Trust, which was founded in 2001, is abbreviated as MET. The trust is made up of distinguished individuals from the Thrissur district of Kerala, including educators, doctors, engineers, lawyers, and business owners. MET'S Group of Institutions offers a wide range of professional courses through MET'S School of Engineering, MET'S College of Advanced Studies, and MET'S Polytechnic. The goal of these three professional institutions is to bring the benefits of technical education to the rural population of Mala and its surrounding areas, as well as the state of Kerala as a whole.
MET'S School of Engineering is a self-financing, Christian-minority Professional Engineering College in Thrissur founded in 2002 by Mala Educational Trust (MET). It is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University (APJAKTU). The College has been awarded ISO Certification 9001-2008 by NQA (UK), demonstrating its very high standards of infrastructure facilities such as labs and libraries, excellent faculty, academic brilliance, training, and placement. Wi-Fi is available throughout the College campus.
