The Federal Bank Officers' Association Educational Society founded and administers the private, self-supporting Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) (FBOAES). The Federal Bank Officers' Association (FBOA), the only organization that represents all of the Federal Bank officers, is behind the FBOAES.
The Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) occupies a distinctive position in South India's professional education industry. Focusing on excellence, FISAT was created with the goal of becoming a "Centre of Excellence" for professional education. Since its inception in 2002, the college has carved out a place for itself in the educational landscape, as eloquently attested to by the stellar grades, job placements, and extracurricular and co-curricular achievements attained by its students.
FISAT has started a bold initiative to raise the standard and worth of education and produce top-notch people. The institution has a "A" Grade from NAAC accreditation. NBA has accredited five B.Tech branches. The organization also earned the highly sought-after ISO 9001:2015 certification.
FISAT is located in Mookannoor, close to Angamaly in the Ernakulam District of Kerala, the hometown of the late K P Hormis, the founder of The Federal Bank Ltd. The FISAT campus is named "Hormis Nagar" to honor the revered memory of the great visionary.
FISAT is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Kerala Technological University (KTU), Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala.
The MBA program at FISAT offers specializations in finance, marketing, human resource management, information systems, production & operations management, and international business. Additionally, the MCA program and six M.Tech courses are offered.
