Al-Azhar Group of Institutions is a center of excellence in the Idukki district of Kerala, and it is situated in Thodupuzha. Under the auspices of Noorul Islam Trust, the organization had a modest beginning in 2002. Today, it operates over 45 programs through 12 institutions, serving more than 6,000 students. To ensure that no one is denied the opportunity to receive an education, Al-Azhar offers a number of merit-based and scholarship-based programs. In addition to programs, the campus emphasizes the need for developing one's innate abilities. Students regularly participate in cultural, artistic, and athletic events. Each Al-Azhar student takes great pride in the annual festival of the Al-Azhar Group, the Al-Azhar Festival.
