In the KIP grounds, the College of Applied Science Kalanjoor, managed by IHRD in the Pathanamthitta District, was founded in June 2014. On the bay of Punalur - Moovattupuzha National Highway, the institution is a part of the University of Kerala. The Government of Kerala established the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) as an independent educational organization in 1987. The Travancore - Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable societies Registrations Act 12 of 1955 governs the registration of organizations like the institute.
