The ancient city of Kollam, formerly known as Quilon, was a hub of culture and maritime trade. Kollam, which is bordered by the Arabian Sea and has access to the well-known Ashtamudi Lake backwaters, is a fantastic tourist destination. The Sree Narayana Colleges were founded by Sri. R. Sankar, giving the city of Kollam its long-lost sense of pride. The 1986 establishment of the Sree Narayana Educational Society made a significant contribution to the educational renaissance of this historic city. The Sree Narayana College of Technology was established by its organizers in 2003.
