An emerging college with ties to the University of Kerala is called Carmel College. It is situated in the picturesque and serene village of Muhamma, in the Alappuzha district. 2014 saw the founding of the college. Nazareth Carmel Educational Charitable Trust, a part of the CMI congregation, is in charge of its ownership and management. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founding father of the CMI, has served as an inspiration to CMI fathers as they have established themselves as trend-setters in the field of education. St. Chavara was a great visionary who made important advancements in the field of education, particularly in the Keralan education system's universalization.
The College now offers five undergraduate programmes, up from just three when it first opened. The courses are B.Com. Tax Procedures and Practices, B.Com. Commerce with Computer Application, B.A. English Language and Literature, and B.C.A. In order to promote students' overall development, we strive to provide them with high-quality education and life skills. We offer opportunities for students to improve their interpersonal skills in addition to academic and extracurricular pursuits in order to ensure the employability of all of our students. Our greatest strength is a symbiotic relationship between management, staff, and students. In our never-ending pursuit of excellence in the field of higher education, we still have a long way to go. We are devoted to realising our dream and are working nonstop to do so.
